"Skylab show out of this world"
WALKING into the 'Skylab, Out of Orbit' exhibition at the Cannery Arts Centre is a sensory and exciting experience. You are taken into a dimly lit world with images and sounds that seem to take you to galaxies far, far away. The exhibition is the creation of David Carson, curator and artist, Brian McClave, experimental video artist working in stereoscopic digital imaging, and George Millward, a UK based sound artist and atmospheric physicist. With that line-up, it is no wonder the exhibit challenges visually but also technologically, incorporating state of-the art materials and equipment to project 3D images.
